The new building, on the site next to Alison, is progressing as planned. It will be used this summer by the Centre for Industrial Electronics. The exterior is nearly complete with work inside being carried out on surfaces and fittings.
In order to connect the new building and Alison next door, a footbridge is being installed at first floor level. This will make it possible for students and teachers to move between the classrooms and practical areas without getting wet shoes.
The construction of CIE will be completed by the end of May 2019 and will be ready this summer to receive students at the beginning of the 2019 academic year.
