Many congratulations to Peter M. Clausen, who turned 70 on the 6th September 2019.
Peter M. Clausen has been chairman of Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation since 1999. During this time, his contributions have made a lasting impression on Als and the Municipality of Sønderborg. Under the chairmanship of Peter M. Clausen, the Foundation has evolved to take a greater responsibility for the local community as well as in developing the area in and around Sønderborg.

Peter Mads Clausen is a visionary and enterprising businessman. Taking a long-term view, he has set the course for the Foundation’s work for the last 20 years. He is a well-liked chairman of Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation, and a respected person in the local community.

Peter M. Clausen is the son of manufacturer and engineer Mads Clausen and Bitten Clausen. He trained as a mechanical engineer and, throughout his career, has held a number of management positions at Danfoss A/S, including the post of Senior Vice President of Danfoss High Pressure Pumps (1989-2009). In addition, he is an investor and chairman of the board of directors in a number of companies.
Peter M. Clausen has been married to Anne-Dorthe for 47 years, and they have two children Mads-Peter and Christina.
This special birthday is being celebrated with business associates, friends and family at Alsik.
