Syttende retained its Michelin star at this evening's award ceremony in Odsherred, where Syttende was once again honoured with this prestigious recognition.

Restaurant Syttende opened in October 2019. In 2021, the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star – the first in Southern Jutland. Steigenberger Alsik Hotel & Spa, which Syttende is part of, is owned by Bitten & Mads Clausen's Foundation.

This is a great achievement, on which Bitten & Mads Clausen's Foundation would like to congratulate them. Syttende received the star for the first time in 2021, as the first ever restaurant in Southern Jutland. Since then, the restaurant has managed to retain this prestigious recognition every single year.
Syttende is located on the 17th floor of the Steigenberger Alsik Hotel & Spa overlooking the waterfront in Sønderborg – and takes its name from its location.
Since the opening in 2019, Peter Rødsgaard has helped shape and develop the restaurant's gastronomic direction and is Head Chef at Syttende. He says in connection with this year's Michelin star award:
