Bitten and Mads Clausen’s Foundation rounds off its 50th Anniversary with a new film.
Bitten Clausen founded Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation on the 23rd of December 1971 as a means of safeguarding Danfoss. The Anniversary has been celebrated in 2021, and, on the anniversary of the founding of the Foundation, the year is being rounded off with a short film, which can be seen at the bottom of this article.
By founding Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation, my mother ensured the future ownership of Danfoss, and also the continuation of the fundamental values of our family. Today, this is reflected in the Foundation's activities. Some investments are made to generate a financial return and strengthen the Foundation's, and also Danfoss', capital base. Other projects we give our heart and soul to, but don’t expect a short-term financial return. The reward lies in the social value, which the project creates locally.
Peter M. Clausen, Chair of Bitten & Mads Clausen's Foundation
Throughout the years, the Foundation has provided over DKK 2 billion to more than 100 projects and initiatives that directly or indirectly benefit Danfoss. These developments have mostly taken place in Southern Jutland. Here, on the website, you can read about some of the many projects that have come about over the years.
On the Anniversary of its founding, Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation would like to thank everyone, from near and far, for their kind thoughts. This film shows clips from the Anniversary celebrations on October 29th, 2021:
